The DGH D5300M Modbus ADC series four channel thermocouple input product line converts up to four thermocouple signals to digital information, linearizes the digital data and communicates the values to a host computer or PLC. The linearized digital data values are user scaleable in either degrees C or degrees F.
The data values are transmitted to a host computer via an RS-232 or RS-485 serial communications link using either the DGH ASCII protocol or Modbus RTU binary protocol. The protocol is user-selectable.
Because the Modbus RTU protocol does not support echoing, the RS232 versions of D5300M series are limited to one ADC per serial port. Applications requiring more than four ADC channels should use RS485.
The D5300M series modules can also be mounted on a DIN-Rail using the MK-1 mounting kit.
