This is the first model of a brand new generation of flow and level instruments from Greyline. The DFM 5.0 is in production now and replaces the DFM 4.0.

New Features:

- entirely new appearance with hinged cover to access electrical connections

- white backlit matrix display with adjustable brightness

- new 5-key menu system

- removable terminals for electrical connections

- menu language selection: English, French, Spanish

- reverse flow measurement - a minus sign will appear during reverse flow and      the totalizer can be configured to decrement or ignore reverse flow

- 4-20mA, relays and totalizer are also configurable for reverse flow

- instrument auto-detects plug-in of optional extra relays and data logger

- optional data logger capacity increased from  50,000 to 2 million data points

- data logger output via USB to flash/thumb drives (so you don't need to take a laptop for data retrieval) * this is a very important feature

There are a lot of other enhancements that don't make the headlines but substantially improve the user-interface: totalizer works even if the DFM 5.0 is calibrated in velocity mode, data logging units are independent of calibration units, changing measurement units in the DFM does not require a restart of the data logger. Twenty-four hour flow reports are created independent of regular logging.
