The F115 allows a dual pulse input into the device that can be useful to check both signal integrity as well as the direction of the flow. It requires two pulse signals that are 90° or 270° out of phase, when a reverse flow is detected the totals will decrease at a relative rate. The device contains two relays that you can set to output either the flow rate and direction or that there is currently an error in the system. This display has many different applications but can be programmed to appear highly specialized. The F115 is offered with a plastic, aluminum, or explosion proof enclosure, or it can be ordered to simply panel mount. The options for powering the unit are battery, IS battery, loop power, 80-240 VAC with sensor supply, IS 16-30 VDC, and 8-24 VAC/VDC. The F115-XI can be used in hazardous areas too, classification EEx ia IIB T4.
