INTRODUCTION
The ExSense T Series is a line of smart temperature transmitters that include some models with HART® communication capability. All even numbered models can be configured using a HART modem and a PC running the free HART software provided, or they can be configured in the field using a handheld HART communicator. The other models can be configured using a USB modem and a PC running the free software provided. All enclosed models can be ordered with an integral Pt100 RTD, J, K, T thermocouples; see the Ordering Information for model numbers.
PD301 - PD306 Head Mount Models
The non-display head-mount (hockey-puck) models can be mounted inside a DIN Form B connection head. We offer the transmitter without an enclosure (models PD301 & PD302), mounted in a connection head (models PD303 & PD304), and mounted in a connection head with attached temperature probe (models PD305 & PD306). These low-cost models are PC programmable, and share the same input types and other features of the remaining ExSense T Series. The even numbered models (PD302, PD304, and PD306) include HART communication capability. Models with the aluminum connection head are available with safe area (NEMA 4X, IP66 rated), or Certified explosion-proof housings. Connection heads are available in aluminum and stainless steel, and with 1/2", 3/4", or M20X1.5 conduit holes, and 1/2" or 3/4" NPT process opening (for probe, thermowell, or adaptor fitting).
