The D1300M Modbus ADC module converts thermocouple temperature sensor signals to digital information, linearizes the digital data, scales the data and communicates the values to a host computer or PLC. The data values are transmitted in Modbus RTU protocol to a host computer via RS232 or RS485 .
Because the Modbus protocol does not support Echoing the RS232 versions of D1000M series are limited to one ADC per serial port. Applications requiring more than one channel should use RS485.
The D1300M Modbus series modules can also be mounted on a DIN-Rail using the MK-1 mounting kit.
