The PD578 is a 1/4 DIN Nova Temperature Limit Controller. Its universal input accepts 23 input varieties, including thermocouple, RTD, and voltage inputs and can be easily configured for a 4-20 mA input. The limit control latching relay trips when the input exceeds the set point, and will reset only when the reset button is pressed and the input is no longer exceeds the set point. The alarm relay may be programmed using one of 20 different high, low, and deviation alarm types including failsafe and standby options. RS-485 serial communication options include protocols for Modbus ASCII and RTU, as well as PC software.
