Don't make the mistake of assuming that all relative humidity sensors perform the same. Developed by Rotronic, the Hygromer C94 sensor is the result of many years of experience in humidity measurement and is uniquely different. The Hygromer C94 is a thin film capacitive sensor with unparalleled accuracy, repeatability and durability even under extreme climatic conditions and severe pollution. Special formulation of the dielectric polymer that is at the core of the sensor, careful selection of all other materials used in the sensor, and tight manufacturing standards contribute all to make the Hygromer sensor superior:

Rotronic Calibration Accessories
The Rotronic Calibration Accessories permit calibration of our instruments without return to the factory.
Certified Humidity Standards: the standards are presented in boxes of 5 sealed glass ampoules of the same value. Values range from 0 to 95%RH. With the exception of the 0%RH standard (a desiccant), the ampoules hold a non saturated salt solution. The standards are manufactured in Switzerland under strict supervision of SCS (Swiss Calibration Service). Each box of standards comes with an individual certificate that gives all the information required to provide traceability.
Calibration Device: a small chamber which fits and seals tightly around the end of the probe. The standard is deposited in a small receptacle which screws on to the calibration device.
After 45 to 60 minutes, the standard has conditioned the air inside the calibration device to the proper humidity and the instrument can be adjusted.
Humistats Rotronic SF 65 Series Installation
Each SF65 series humistat consists of a base plate and a measurement module (electronics, probe and sensors). The humistats are calibrated at our factory and are shipped in an individual box for protection during shipment or storage.
Installation is a simple 2-step process:
Step 1
The base plate is mounted and wired (a standard electrical box may be used in the case of a wall installation). Since the measurement module is not required during this part of the installation, it can be safely stored until all the work is completed.
Step 2
Upon completion of the wiring work, the module is just snapped into the base plate and secured with the screws provided. Any module can be installed with any base plate, no special matching is required.
When it is time to re-certify calibration or if a repair is required, simply replace the module.
