The HygroLog NT and associated HW4 software comply with FDA CFR part II regarding electronic record keeping. The HygroLog NT can be networked to the purpose of monitoring and capturing data from several locations to a PC. On-site data logging by the HygroLog NT, combined with the capability of automatically downloading log files to the PC, provides protection against loss of data in the event of a power outage or network failure. Using a docking station, up to 7 probes and two external contacts can be connected to a single HygroLog NT.

Internal Probe:
The Internal probe of the HygroLog NT2 and NT3 is a HygroClip S. Models with an internal probe ship with the probe retracted for maximum probe protection.
For a faster response, the internal probe can be extended as shown on the picture to the left. This is done by opening the HygroLog NT (instructions are provided in the user manual).
If so desired, the probe can also be separated from the HygroLog NT with a length of cable.

Note: the above probes have a 7-pin connector. An adapter cable such as the T7-03-B5 is required for connection to inputs 2 and 3 the HygroLog NT3 or to inputs 4 to 7 of the docking station (see Accessories). Extension cable mod. AC1616 is not compatible with the HygroLog NT.

Notes:
All above models feature a receptacle for the AC1211 power adapter (not included with the docking station).
Use of the AC adapter is required for all models with an Ethernet interface and is strongly recommended whenever several probes are connected to the data logger and docking station.
By nature, models with an Ethernet interface generate enough heat to noticeably increase the temperature of both the docking station and data logger. Any probe connected to the HygroLog NT should be separated by a length of cable to ensure accurate temperature and humidity data.
