Fast turnaround is the one of the most important aspects of quality calibration service. For this very reason we at Alpha monitor not only the accuracy of our measurement, but also the amount of time it takes us to complete our service. Check out our results below:
How the numbers were calculated:
§ xx% percentage of all instruments calibrated in the number of days (or less) shown in the first column. For example: in August 2011 85% of all calibrated instruments were finished in 7 days or less including 21% finished the next day
§ # of days represents calendar days (not business) from receiving the instrument in the lab to finishing the calibration. It does include the time when we are waiting for a missing accessory or clarification about a procedure or test points required by customer, but it does not include the time when we wait for a purchase order after the calibration is finished
§ “1 day” means the instrument was calibrated the next day
§ “As found” and “As left” calibrations are counted together as one service
§ Statistics show only calibrations performed in our lab. Subcontracted calibrations are excluded from this statistic
§ Turnaround of instruments started in one month and finished in another is shown in the month when calibration was finished
