Take your wired Alicat flow meter or pressure transducer anywhere by converting it into a battery-powered portable instrument. Our 9 V battery pack for gas mass flow meters, liquid flow meters and pressure transducers attaches to the top of Alicat instruments equipped with our standard 8-pin mini-DIN connector.
The battery pack features an on/off rocker switch and reproduces our standard female 8-pin mini-DIN connector via internal pass-through circuitry. However, converted instruments lose access to their barrel-type power jacks while this battery pack is connected. Typical running time is 8 hours using a 9 V alkaline battery with a monochrome display, or 2.5 hours using a 9 V lithium battery with a color display.
Battery pack installation requires an initial 5 minute installation of a replacement case top (included) to your flow meter or pressure transducer. Connection of the battery pack to your instrument is via internal captive screws accessible with the provided Allen wrench.
Included is the 9 V battery pack assembly (for flow meters and pressure transducers), 9 V battery pack, replacement instrument case top, T8 torx driver for case top replacement, 3/32 in Allen wrench for battery pack installation, and LSPM operating manual.
This 9 V battery kit converts existing Alicat flow meters or pressure transducers for use in the field. For new orders, the following portable flow meters and pressure transducers are built with integrated rechargeable batteries:
