The DGH D5100M Modbus ADC series four channel voltage input product line converts up to four analog DC voltage signals to digital information, linearizes the digital data and communicates the values to a host computer or PLC.
The data values are transmitted to a host computer via an RS-232 or RS-485 serial communications link using an ASCII protocol.
Because the Modbus RTU protocol does not support echoing, the RS232 versions of D5100M series are limited to one ADC per serial port. Applications requiring more than four ADC channels should use RS485.
The D5100M Modbus series modules can also be mounted on a DIN-Rail using the MK-1 mounting kit.
