Supported Applications

The Omega JTSS-HH Series consists of general-purpose miniature thermocouple probes designed for use with handheld thermocouple meters and benchtop instruments. These retractable cable probes feature a grounded junction and are intended for temperature measurement tasks requiring compact sensor access.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series supports a documented measurement range of -200°C to 1370°C (-328°F to 2500°F). Accuracy meets or exceeds Special Limit of Error (SLE) and EN 60584-2: Tolerance Class 1. The molded junction is rated for process temperatures up to 220°C (425°F).

The probe sheath is constructed from 304 Stainless Steel.

Configuration Options

The JTSS-HH Series offers multiple thermocouple alloy options, each identified by a specific model number and ANSI color code. The series includes the following configurations:

• Type J (Iron-Constantan): Model JTSS-HH
• Type K (CHROMEGA®-ALOMEGA®): Model KTSS-HH
• Type E (CHROMEGA®-Constantan): Model ETSS-HH
• Type T (Copper-Constantan): Model TTSS-HH

Each probe features a color-coded retractable cable and terminates with an SMPW Male Connector. The standard configuration includes 1' of RSC cable, which stretches to 5'. Other lengths are available upon consultation with the Sales Department.
