LJ Star's Sterile Full-View Indicators feature polished stainless steel sanitary clamp connections are featured in the new Sterile Full-View Visual Flow Indicators, rated up to 150 PSI. These competitively priced units use borosilicate glass cylinders and incorporate a number of other standard features that are available only as premium-price options in other lines.
Designed to be mounted in-line in sanitary process piping systems, L.J. Star sterile service visual flow indicators provide operators a full view of the flow of virtually any process pipeline fluid, while imposing minimal additional pressure-drop on the line. Units are available with optional stainless steel mesh shields.
The units are rated for working pressures up to 150 psi. Standard material of construction for sanitary service is 316L stainless steel. For corrosive service, Hastelloy®, AL6XN®, Monel®, and Alloy 20 are also available. All seal materials are USP Class VI and FDA compliant. EPDM is the standard o-ring seal material with FEP encapsulated silicone, silicone and Viton® o-rings available as options.
Standard models range in clamp sizes from 1/2 inch to 6 inches. Impact-resistant shields to protect the glass column are optional. Custom designs, lengths and surface finishes are also available.
A borosilicate glass cylinder permits full 360 degree observation of process media. Use where close observation of fluid characteristics is desired.
