The Omega HHSL-101 is a low-cost, compact, battery-powered sound level meter designed for unattended logging of decibel levels in an environment. The series supports monitoring environmental and industrial noise as well as measuring decibel levels during acoustical design and sound system setups.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The HHSL-101 operates within a measurement range of 30 to 130 dB with an accuracy of ±1.5 dB and a resolution of 0.1 dB. The device functions in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) and humidity levels between 10 to 90% RH non-condensing. Storage temperature without the battery is specified as -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F), with a storage humidity of 5 to 95% RH.
Performance specifications include user-selectable sampling rates of 125 ms, 500 ms, 1 sec, 2 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, and 60 sec. The unit features internal flash memory capable of storing up to 32,000 data points.
Configuration Options
The HHSL-101 series is configured as a digital sound level data logger with an LCD display. Data logging can be initiated or stopped via a button on the unit, allowing for unattended operation without requiring a laptop at the job site.

Safety Notes
The HHSL-101 must not be used in the presence of flammable or explosive gases. If the battery is removed before setup from software or while recording, the unit requires reconfiguration to exit standby mode.
