The GYLON BIO-LOK™ gasket is a controlled compression modified PTFE gasket for use in hygienic clamp fittings. This gasket is designed for FDA and bioprocessing type applications, is dimensionally stable and will not intrude into the pipe bore. Utilizing Garlock's proprietary GYLON* modified PTFE technology, the GYLON BIO- LOK™ gasket is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and processing applications. The gasket is designed to withstand the rigors of clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitize-in-place (SIP) processes.
The GYLON BIO-LOK™ gasket withstands thermal cycling with temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to 356°F (180°C) without clamp retightening.
