The Omega LSC7000 Series consists of low-range remote platform scales designed for high-accuracy weighing tasks. The series supports in-line weighing, checkweighing, parts counting, sample or bulk scale applications, and general-purpose weighing.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The LSC7000 Series offers capacities ranging from 2 to 200 lb (1 to 91 kgf) with an accuracy class of 1 Part in 5000. Specific performance metrics include a linearity of 0.01% and hysteresis of 0.02%. The scales operate on an excitation voltage of up to 15 V max.
Output signals vary by capacity range: models with 10 lb ranges provide 1 mV/V, while all other ranges deliver 2 mV/V. Each unit includes a 3 m (10') cable for electrical connection.
Configuration Options
The series is available in two platform constructions to suit different environmental and handling needs:
• Aluminum Platform: Fabricated construction, measuring 203 x 203 mm (8 x 8"). This size corresponds to the 2 lb and 5 lb capacity models.
• Stainless Steel Platform: Cast construction, measuring 305 x 356 mm (12 x 14"). This larger platform is used for capacities from 10 lb up to 200 lb.

Shipping weights vary by platform size: 3.7 kgf (8 lb) for the 8 x 8" aluminum unit and 8 kgf (18 lb) for the 12 x 14" stainless steel unit.
