Supported Applications
The Omega LVCN-40 Series is a general-purpose level indicator designed to display tank level or volume in engineering units. It functions as a field-mounted repeater for compatible sensors, showing the measured value and relay status configured on the attached device. The series supports applications requiring monitoring of liquid height or volume where changes to relay set points can be made directly through the field indicator.
The LVCN-40 Series is compatible with:
• LVCN-414 Series level sensors
• LVCN-210 Series level sensors
• LVCN-318 Series level sensors
These sensors must be configured with LVCN-414-SW 6.0 software and updated to V50 firmware or higher.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The indicator operates within an ambient temperature range of F: -4° to 140°, C: -20° to 60°. It is powered by the attached level sensor, with a supply voltage that should never exceed 28 VDC. The device features a NEMA 4 (IP65) enclosure rating when mounted and utilizes a polycarbonate housing.
Performance specifications include:

• Character Height (Resolution): 0.374" (9.5 mm)
• Cable Length: 4' (1.2m) with a maximum separation of up to 4.5m (15') from the sensor.
The enclosure is liquid-resistant but not designed for operation when immersed. The series should not be used within classified hazardous environments, and these products are not designed for human applications.
Configuration Options
The LVCN-40 Series provides a fixed configuration with specific interface and connection capabilities:
• Display Type: LCD, 6-digit with 4 relay indicators showing dot indication for relay status.
• User Interface: Three-button silicon rubber controls for set point adjustments.
• Electrical Connection: 4-conductor, #22 AWG cable with polyurethane jacketing and a 3/4 coarse thread connector type.
• Housing Material: Polycarbonate enclosure designed for panel mount installation.
The indicator repeats the measured value, relay status, and set point configuration of the attached sensor without requiring independent programming. It is certified to CE and RoHS standards under ISO 9001 Certified manufacturing processes.
