 Monnit Alta wireless control units contain two separate relay switches allowing for individual control through the iMonnit online sensors portal. The control unit relays can be switched on/off manually through the software or automatically by any wireless sensor notification assigned to a single sensor or group of sensors when a specified condition is detected.

 
The dual relays can be programmed separately to turn off or on wirelessly based on different sensor conditions. They can be used for on-off control of devices such as heaters, pumps, solenoid valves, etc. In an example application, two fluid tanks with blanket heaters need to be maintained at different temperatures for feeding a mixing process. One relay is programmed to turn on when the wireless temperature sensor in one tank reports a temperature below 90C and turn off when that sensor reports a temperature of 95C. The other relay is programmed the same way to maintain the second tank at a temperature between 60C and 65C.
