As another year wraps up, it’s clear that 2024 was the year of big moves for Alpha Controls—literally. We swapped out our old digs for a new home, all while unveiling a reimagined brand. Let’s just say we didn’t shy away from change.

From unexpected triumphs to the little things that kept us moving (literally), 2024 has certainly given us plenty to talk about! Whether you’ve been with us from day one or joined the ride this year, here’s a quick look back at what made this year…well, our year.

Celebrating 45 Years of Excellence

2024 marked a major milestone: Alpha Controls turned 45! We’re incredibly proud to have served our customers for over four decades, evolving alongside the industries we support. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our loyal customers, partners, and staff who have made this journey possible.

A New Home for Alpha Controls

Big moves call for big changes. This year, we said goodbye to Steelcase Rd and relocated to 2900 John St; a new space designed to better serve our growing team and customers. The transition wasn’t without its challenges, but it’s already proving to be a game-changer. With upgraded facilities and more room to grow, we’re ready for the future.

We Grew and We Evolved - Your Precision Partner

Speaking of change, we also unveiled a complete rebrand in 2024. Our new look reflects who we are today: modern, innovative, and forward-thinking. While our logo and colors may have changed, our commitment to providing exceptional service remains as steadfast as ever.

Welcoming Two New Brands

We expanded our offerings this year by partnering with two incredible brands: Rice Lake and Turbine’s Inc. These additions to our portfolio allow us to bring even more top-tier products and solutions to our customers.

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is a family-owned, ISO 9001:2015 certified corporation, and has been manufacturing and distributing weight-related products and supplies since 1946. Within the company, progressive new technologies merge with the wisdom of industry experience to create the future of weighing through cutting-edge research and design. Rice Lake's roots are planted firmly in the principles of quality and customer service. Through three generations of family ownership, these ideals remain unchanged. Founded in 1975, Turbines Incorporated designs and manufactures reliable, competitively priced liquid, gas and cryogenic turbine flow meters, electronic monitors, accessories, and replacement parts.

Expanding Our Calibration Capabilities

Innovation never stops, and neither do we. In 2024, we expanded our calibration capabilities to meet the growing needs of our customers. We are now the only company in Canada that can offer calibration services for CCIT equipment from PTI. We now offer additional calibration services for KAYE Instruments, specifically for the Validator AVS and ValProbe RT systems. We are able to provide On-Site Calibration for the KAYE Validator AVS and In-House Temperature Calibration for the KAYE ValProbe RT Loggers. These accomplishments mark a new milestone for our lab, further enhancing our ability as your one-stop-shop for anything instrumentation related.
