Gas mass flow controllers must be fast and accurate to establish stable flow. Our mass flow controllers reach their setpoints faster than any others, which enables them to suppress fluctuations in line pressure before they affect your process downstream. Customized valve options and factory PID tuning ensure that your mass flow controller will perform well in your specific application.

The MCW, or “Whisper”, is best for low pressure drop applications, leak testing and for reducing pneumatic response time at flow rates of 50 scccm or less. Low pressure drop makes these controllers ideal for controlling mass and volumetric flow rates when there is little available system pressure. Low pressure drop minimizes system impact, enabling flow control at near-atmospheric pressures and shortening system response times.

Alicat MCW series flow controllers can be custom built with your choice of options. Choose your communications protocol, display, process connections, elastomers, flow totalizer, and calibration. Other build options include your choice of valve options to ensure optimal performance under your expected process conditions. Need further customization? The MC series is Alicat’s standard mass flow controller, with models that can measure flow rates as high as 5000 slpm or as low as 0.0025 sccm, and is available for use with non-corrosive gases (MC) or corrosive gases (MCS). The MCQ flow controller delivers the fast control response of our standard controller to applications that require higher line pressures (160 - 320 PSIA).
