When a single flow meter won’t cover all of your calibration needs, consider using a portable calibration unit (PCU). Alicat’s PCU-Series portable calibration units are secondary calibration standards that can go anywhere to verify the operation of flow equipment. Each PCU portable calibration unit comes with totalizers and high-accuracy calibration (0.4% reading + 0.2% full-scale range). These are housed inside a rugged industrial carrying case and powered by two (2) 9V  batteries (AC connections also included). The PCU includes integrated push-connect fittings for each meter, plus a copy of Alicat’s Flow Vision SC™ software. Available in stainless steel (PCUS) for corrosive gases and in the “Whisper” series (PCUW) for low pressure drop applications.

Alicat’s portable calibration units (PCU) combine three (3) battery-powered flow meters of complimentary ranges in a single case, each with totalizer and NIST-traceable high-accuracy calibration to a primary flow standard. With three overlapping measurement ranges, the PCU is capable of a total turndown of a million to one, making this an extremely versatile instrument.

• Combines up to 3 high-accuracy flow meters of varied ranges
• Quickly calibrate multiple instruments across a combined turndown range of up to 1,000,000:1
• Measures live flow rates and flow totals with NIST-traceable accuracy
• Model variations include low pressure drop (PCUW) and for corrosive/aggressive gases (PCUS)
• Flow meters houses within a rugged hard case to withstand drops if they should occur
• Includes COMPOSER™ gas composition firmware and Flow Vision SC™ software
• Multiple build and performance options
• NIST traceable
• Lifetime warranty
